Amulet with an animistic guardian—a gargoyle—watching over a nature-cast baobab-shaped thorn of Monadenium spectabile, a rare succulent plant endemic to Tanzania. With its diamond-set and gold-painted collar, the gargoyle becomes the chapiter of the rock crystal column housing the thorn and the diamond studded meander upon which it stands. The column base is an entwined knot of tree branches. One of a kind.

Earrings set all around with rose-cut diamonds. Drop-shaped rosecut diamonds and yellow gold scrolls form an inverted stylized pine cone. The cone is topped with a chainmail-like column composed of a multitude of flexibly connected elements made of yellow and white gold and rose-cut diamonds. The column is finished with a simple capital that serves as the base for a small clasp, which is micro pavéset with tiny rose-cut diamonds, and embellished with black vitreous enamel and painted gold.
