In this cross, the glass arms are capped with yellow gold and meet at the center, where four rose-cut diamonds are set upon an engraved starfish-like ornament. Reflecting the real-life characteristic of all members of the Octopodidae family, which lack a skeleton and thus possess extreme flexibility, the golden body of the octopus closely conforms to the shape of the crystal, gripping it tightly with its tentacles. On the underside of the tentacles are engraved suckers, and one of the tentacles forms the suspension loop.

Pendant with a nature cast of the shell of a sea snail Tenagodus obtusus that is endemic to the Mediterranean and north-western Atlantic. Typical for the species is the spirally coiled shell with separated whorls and an opening along its longitudinal axis. This shape is the result of the natural lifestyle in a fixed position within a sponge, a sessile salt-water animal that slowly grows in unpredictable directions. To keep its access to the outside of the sponge, the Tenagodus adapts the growth of its shell to that of the host sponge.

Ring that winds itself around the finger like a snake, whose head is a teardrop-shaped antique diamond. The ring was equally inspired by the supporting steel frame structures of the 19th century and the archaic wood engravings from the South Pacific. The open end of the white gold ring hoop opens into two fluted columns from which thick yellow gold tendrils grow to close the ring by penetrating the open lattice of the ring head.

Their characteristic exoskeletons were perfectly suited for fossilisation, and can now provide information about all stages of their evolution. Specimens fossilised in motion show their supple flexibility, which inspired this bracelet: precise ball-and-socket joints connect the bracelet links in an articulated way, giving a naturalistic grace to the opening and closing of the bracelet.

Brooch in form of a blossom upon which a large forest ant of blackened white gold is seated. This is a nature cast of a blossom of the succulent plant Uncarina roeoesliana, which is endemic to Madagascar. Movable stamens emerge from the black enameled interior of the flower.

Pendant with a phantom amethyst that developed inside a sceptre quartz (a quartz crystal on which a second, younger crystal formed in the direction of the main axis and thus created the eponymous sceptre shape). The fine lines visible in the lower part of the crystal are ingrown rutile crystals. The shaft of the sceptre is concealed within a structure inspired by South American temple architecture, that is made of enamelled and gold-painted plates and ends with a toucan head. The toucan‘s plumage is of partially oxidized yellow and white gold, and his eyes are cut from rock crystal and underlaid with cobalt blue enameled fine silver lenses. With its open beak, in which a green enameled tongue is visible, the toucan grasps a purple enameled earthworm, which serves as a suspension loop.

A special quality of a stellated tetrahedron is that if placed within a cube, each of its eight tips will touch exactly one of the cube’s eight corners.

Earrings with nature casts of the shell of a sea snail Tenagodus obtusus that is endemic to the Mediterranean and north-western Atlantic. Typical for the species is the spirally coiled shell with separated whorls and an opening along its longitudinal axis. This shape is the result of the natural lifestyle in a fixed position within a sponge, sessile salt-water animal that slowly grows in unpredictable directions. To keep its access to the outside of the sponge, the Tenagodus adapts the growth of its shell to that of the host sponge. The nature casts are covered with white vitreous enamel and painted gold ornaments. The suspension element is a diamond-set Cardan joint.

The earrings are composed of two interconnected moveable elements: above, a larger snail shell, and below, a tourmaline that is asymmetrically set by three smaller shells. The intermediate ball mechanism of white gold is mounted off-center to counterbalance the tourmaline’s long axis.

Diamond and demantoid set earrings with a pair of moldavite drops—natural green glass formed from terrestrial debris ejected during a meteorite impact 15 million years ago. An asteroid with a circumference of 1.5 km (0.9 miles) entered Earth's atmosphere with a speed of 20 kilometres per second (12.5 mi/s), passed the atmosphere in course of just a few seconds without losing much of it velocity, and impacted the ground in the region between present-day Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Munich. The impact crater from this event, the Nördlinger Ries, is well-preserved to this day, but due to its size—its circumference measures 24 km (15 mi)—it is only recognizable from the air. Fractions of a second before the impact, the extreme temperature and pressure of the air between the Earth’s surface and the approaching asteroid melted and then evaporated the soil just beneath. The compressed air ejected the evaporated soil at a velocity that significantly exceeded that of the incoming asteroid, so that the liquid rock splatters cooled down and became green glass drops while they were still airborne. They fell in present-day Bohemia and Moravia regions of the Czech Republic (about 450 km away from the site of the original impact), where they are still found today. The name “moldavites” refers to the most important place of occurrence—the river once known as Moldau. One of a kind.
