Myths of colossal sea monsters, prevalent across various cultures, attacking ships and dragging them into the depths with their arms, inspired this pendant. It depicts a cobalt blue enameled octopus clutching its prey, an amethyst scepter (crystal formed from two fused amethysts, their combined shape resembling that of a scepter). Reflecting the real-life characteristic of all members of the Octopodidae family, which lack a skeleton and thus possess extreme flexibility, the golden body of the octopus closely conforms to the shape of the crystal, gripping it tightly with its tentacles. On the underside of the tentacles are engraved suckers, and one of the tentacles forms the suspension loop.

Pendant with a scepter amethyst, a crystal where a second generation amethyst crystal grew on top of an older one, the shape of the two together resembling that of a scepter (finding place: Goboboseb Mountains, Namibia). The scepter crystal has 3-phase inclusions (air bubbles moving in water), as well as a phantom amethyst, an enclosed amethyst crystal that is recognizable by its darker color. Pendant with a nature cast of the shell of a sea snail Tenagodus obtusus that is endemic to the Mediterranean and north-western Atlantic. Typical for the species is the spirally coiled shell with separated whorls and an opening along its longitudinal axis. This shape is the result of the natural lifestyle in a fixed position within a sponge, a sessile salt-water animal that slowly grows in unpredictable directions. To keep its access to the outside of the sponge, the Tenagodus adapts the growth of its shell to that of the host sponge.

Pendant with a phantom amethyst that developed inside a sceptre quartz (a quartz crystal on which a second, younger crystal formed in the direction of the main axis and thus created the eponymous sceptre shape). The fine lines visible in the lower part of the crystal are ingrown rutile crystals. The shaft of the sceptre is concealed within a structure inspired by South American temple architecture, that is made of enamelled and gold-painted plates and ends with a toucan head. The toucan‘s plumage is of partially oxidized yellow and white gold, and his eyes are cut from rock crystal and underlaid with cobalt blue enameled fine silver lenses. With its open beak, in which a green enameled tongue is visible, the toucan grasps a purple enameled earthworm, which serves as a suspension loop.
