Hand pendant with an enameled green lizard. The layer of multicolored enamel is underlaid with engraved net of cobalt blue enameled scales. The lizards’s back ridge is set with demantoids, its tongue is enameled red, and the eyes black. The hand is covered with black vitreous enamel, whose layer is so translucent, that the yellow gold shines through from underneath, and makes the hand appear anthracite grey. A tattoo of entwined thorn branches runs around the entire hand. The hand wears rings set with a table-cut padparadscha sapphire and an old-mine cut diamond, and a diamond-set and enameled bracelet. Intertwined branches of white gold lead from the bracelet to a twisted diamond-set suspension loop of yellow gold.
